Lovely service for you yesterday Tombo. Very fitting for one of life's true hard working gentleman. Last time I saw you it was about two years ago. I only wished I had of stayed in contact more my second daddy. Time goes by so quickly and all those years at your section @ Marsden Bay will never be forgotten. Say hi to Dad for me! Love Julie

Memories of fun and laughter when we stayed at your section at Marsden Bay. Lots of buses (mobile caravans) parked there. I remember the day your little boat motor died, right in the channel as a ship was coming in. Panic time! Also remember your poems.

Tom was my dad's best mate. He always brought fun and laughter to our house. I can still remember him and his poems and even in his later years he would visit us at Whenuapai and stand up and recite those poems! He brought sunshine into our lives. We were lucky to have known him. x

A great man who always loved his boys.
Taught them about fun & making lots of noise.
He never stop showing them the value of his love.
And he'll be keeping an eye on them, from the great above.
