I've known Tom since I was a little girl. He had a great sense of fun and was always up for a good debate. He also got me my first real job at age 22 and remained an important mentor for me throughout the 10 years I worked in resource management. Rest in peace Tom you contributed hugely to us all.

Tom was a wonderfully caring teacher in the workplace, who coached colleagues who would seek him out to ask for his help. Hugely generous, sharp and analytical - Tom thrived on discussion of the merits or considerations surrounding an issue.
Respected and loved.
