Rick FISHER Obituary

FISHER, Rick (Thomas Richmond). Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Meadowbank Care Suites on 25 January 2026, aged 85. Much loved husband of Sue, father of Tim, the late Simon, and Anna. Special Poppa to Oli, Nina, Zoe, Bella, Charlie, and Max. Father-in-law to Anna, and Dave. A farewell and celebration of Rick's life will be held at Purewa All Saints Chapel, 100 St John's Road, Meadowbank on Monday 2 February at 12noon. In lieu of flowers, donations to Fred Hollows Foundation would be appreciated.

Dear Sue Tim and Anna
Our sincere condolences to you all. I knew Rick at Engineering School Canterbury in the `60´s and became great friends. In later years we kept in contact as our businesses progressed. He was a special person and a lovely gentleman.

Dear Sue and family, my sincere condolences to you all. I am Jans sister Carol, who also used to work at Fishers reception 47 years ago now. I remember Rick to be such a lovely caring family man.
