Thelma HALL Obituary

HALL, Thelma Hazel (nee King). 22 April 1922 - 26 November 2021. Passed away peacefully at Kamo Home and Village, Whangarei, aged 99 years and 7 months. Loved daughter of William and Elizabeth, sister to Evelyn, Roy, Lil, Ruby, Daphne, Eric, Dorothy, Eileen and Jack (all deceased). Very much loved mother to Gloria and Frank, and grandmother to Stephanie and Tom. A life time friend to James. A private service is being held tomorrow (Thursday).

Dear Gloria. My sympathy to you on the loss of your Mother. She was surely blessed to reach 99.7 years. I believe that your father Jim Hall boarded with my maternal grandparents (Frost family) in Maungatoroto in 1930 and Ohakune 1935. A relative of Alice Frost (nee McMahon). Did you live with your parents in Mt Roskill. I visited with my mother around about 1946/47. If All this is correct, please contact me.

A wonderful Aunty who was always there for us. We will miss her so much. Will never forget her stories, her laugh. She didn't want to be the last King but now at last they're back together

Thel was the best Nana anyone could ask for. Full of love, generosity and humour. She was always there for me and Tom. Will be missed everyday, but happy memories will always fill my heart. xxx
