Terry MCLISKY Obituary

MCLISKY, Terry Hugh. On September 12, 2017, died unexpectedly at Christchurch Hospital, aged 85 years. Much loved and hugely missed husband of 52 years of Val, father to Justine, Fraser, and Cameron, father-in-law to Adrienne, Lisa and Shaz, and adored Poppy to Ben, James, Lachie and Liam. Auckland Grammar old boy, science and physics secondary teacher and University lecturer, Auckland and Canterbury University Liaison Officer, cricket umpire, classical music and sports fanatic, and pedantic grammar corrector, he will be widely missed. Dear Val and FamilyI have just found online that Terry has passed on. This came as such a shock and please accept my deepest sympathy.It is so long now since are families were in touch.You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I loved it when mum, dad and my three brothers all came down to New Zealand on the plane to come and visit you and Nanny. As soon as wee arrived Nanny and you would always come and meet us at the gates and give us a big hug and kiss. We always came back to your small but tall, three story house on Beechwood dr. One of the memories that has happily been inserted into my mind was when you took us out to the pond and we used to finish the bread loaf by feeding the ducks and pukeko's. I will always remember you when we at visiting Nanny and when i am at home in Melbourne. It is going to be very sad without you. You will be remembered very much and will be in my heart till the day i die and come and see you up there.
Love you so so much Poppy.
