Terrence HAYES Obituary

HAYES, Terrence James (Big Terry). Of Paihia and originally Tuakau. Terry died suddenly but peacefully on Monday 24th June 2024 at Whangarei Hospital with his 3 sisters by his side. Terry was the loved son of the Late Travers and Jean Hayes of Tuakau. He was a loved brother of Katherine Woolsey, Dorothy Warbrooke, and Pamela Kerr. A loved brother in law of Eric Roger and the late Lester. Loved Uncle and friend. At Terry's request there will be no funeral but a Memorial gathering will be held on Sunday August 18th at the Paihia RSA at 1.30pm. All welcome. R.I.P Terry you will be missed and already are. James,Rebecca,Tia,Keith and Darcy; Calum and Jessica.

Terry you will be missed you have been part of our lives for many decades racing motorbike´s around the chook sheds in your younger days many all day card games going late into the night when you bought our car from us we would smile when you arrived in as it ended up in a permanent tilt to the driver´s side
Always a smile and a very quick wit talking about horses that went good or bad and your trips around the race circuit a big man with a big heart xxxxx

Hi Big bro .Gee i am going to miss all those phone calls and getting told off because i didnt answer..Who is going to talk Warriors with me now.Who is going to rubbish the horses that don't come in.Who is going to ask is the Paerata Motel open.I am going to miss all that i do already.
