I'm so devastated to find out about Terry's passing, my sincere condolences to all my extended family. I have so many fond memories of a certain beach house surfing in a cyclone, plum fights in the back yard oh and who could ever forget the classic back yard cricket match's growing up. My thoughts are with you all. Terry you will never be forgotten.

Hi just heard this devastating news from Nick. The three of us worked together at the beginning of Avocadomilk. However my friendship with Terry started quite a while before that. Terri came into my agency to pitch us on a co-project with Tom Cruise and the Jack Reacher series on behalf of his client Rodd and Gunn. We recognized kindred marketing souls in each other and continue to work together on several projects. I´ve never met someone with such expansive creativity and boundless energy. And of course his ability to make you laugh. He also had a way of making everyone in the room feel important and heard. That is a very rare quality. And of course many of those conversations turned back to the love and support he got from his family. Terry you will be deeply missed and I bet Heaven is going to get one heck of an amazing new ad campaign :)

No one really knows what you go through unless you have travelled the same path- we both agreed on that mate. To support me through my cancer journey while going through your own is beyond special Being able to then return the favour in some small way through support meant so much. No matter how much I asked about you, you would turn it around to asking about how I was doing, sums you up
I can´t describe the impact you have had on my life mate but it´s fair to say that I have been lucky enough to have an amazing example of how I should celebrate life and live it to the fullest everyday. Google analytics are in- you have been smashing it since 1973! Great campaign, grab your board, catch a wave, chill out.# legend #mate

To the Daly family! My sincere and deepest condolences for your loss !! I had the pleasure of shaking the hand of the ` legend´ one time.. and that is all it took for me to understand what a great lad I had the pleasure of working with.. in Anaheim CA, pre Covid and we would then go on to be partners via Zoom.. what a ghip as we say. Was hoping to have NZ session and to meet Jen, Sam and Cooper as he boasted often, and proudly..
So sorry for your loss and so very grateful for my time with Terry

Terry, we only crossed paths over the last year or two working on our little side hustle, but in that time you got the wheels in motion, setting up our fledgling business for success! It's fair to say in doing so, you've changed the course of my life and others for the better! So thanks man, from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate it and will give it everything to finish the job you started!

I had the pleasure of employing Terry as a barman at The Albion back in his time over in Hampton Court in UK. What fabulous memories of such a happy time from back then. I will never forget the look on his face when Clive Woodward and most of the English and All Blacks appeared in the pub at 10.30pm on a Saturday night, all dressed in their club blazers, I didn't have a clue who they were, Terry soon filled me in. Needless to say we had a very late lock in that night. My son, who was very young at the time absolutely adored Terry, who spent so much time entertaining him for me, either sitting and watching endless children's programmes, or dragging him around the pub in a huge cardboard box, whilst we decorated the pub for Christmas, David, my son thought this was the best thing ever! I had the pleasure of meeting up with him again when he was back over about 9 years ago, back in the Albion, another night never to be forgotten, when he told me that all the overseas bar staff looked upon me as a 'surrogate' UK mother, lovely compliment, although not quite the look I was going for at the time. Terry, you truly were one of the nicest, kindest, loveliest person I have ever met, gone way too soon my friend. RIP lovely Terry. Condolences to all your family, they were extremely lucky to have them in their lives xx

I didn't know you well Terry, but always recall Juliet announcing to me years ago, when the girls were little Year 7's, after a playdate at yours ... "What a lovely man Sam's father is. Daddy would really like him". Fun, warm and kind was the impression I got. Then two years ago when you and Jen hosted the girls at your beautiful place in Omaha, she again commented on the great chats she'd had, the time you gave them and the lovely suppers you would prepare for the girls when they came in after the evenings festivities. Thank you.
RIP and all our love to your beautiful family; Jen, Sam and Cooper

I don't know where to start; hang on, yes I do. What an absolute legend of a man. I met Terry when he travelled to the UK in the 90's. It was one of the happiest times of my life and Terry formed the core of a group of friends that I'll never forget. When I heard the news of him passing my mind immediately delivered some memories that could only have been forged by Terry being at the core of that crew. Playing rugby together and never losing, massive tackles and many tries. Sitting with him watching The All Blacks (never lose) against England in The Albion Pub in East Molesey. Talking about business and entrepreneurial ideas into the early hours of the morning. Cooking New Zealand green lip mussels on the BBQ and being introduced to Steinlager at Buckingham Gardens. Playing touch rugby in the sunshine on Cigarette Island in the shadow of Hampton Court Palace and the time I got him to polish the copper plate in the pub 6 times because I said it wasn't as shiny as when I did it The list goes on. Running through the heart of all these priceless moments was one of the funniest and kindest people I've ever met; a man who would go out of his way to do anything for anyone. A highly competitive man who was a natural leader and ferocious friend. Terry and I probably chatted on a couple of occasions since he travelled back to NZ and sadly I haven't seen him in over twenty years, however the way I feel about him passing is directly proportional to the impact he had on my life. It's an indescribable loss. My love and support go to Terry's family as well as anyone who knew him. I shall be eternally grateful to have had the privilege to meet him and call him my friend. Rest in peace champ. Rich

Legend is a good word for Terry. I have fond memories of Terry and the way that he made people feel better about themselves by being around him.

Terry is an impressive individual, yet he would never talk about it. The last thing he would do is talk about himself. He would always want to know about you and what was happening with you.

Terry volunteered at Auckland Marist for Cooper's rugby team. I remember Terry always trying to make training fun. He would be out there with frisbees, sacks, tackle pads and get the kids to try things that were completely unrelated to rugby. We used to have so much fun with the young boys and now they are men. Then when we needed to we would bump kids off with tackle pads to continue to play and have fun. Hopefully they have learnt to have fun while doing stuff that they love.

Rugby meant a lot to Terry. He wanted to share the same experiences he had growing up with Cooper. He talked about the Marist brotherhood and how the relationships he made when playing rugby meant so much to him. Stories like his dad having to buy a loaf of bread a day to feed the boys before practices.

Terry, we will all miss you. You've left a wonderful legacy with your family and friends. We are all a little bit better from knowing you.

Terry will be remembered by me as one of the funniest, nicest people I have had the pleasure to call a friend. Our days in Molesey England, in the pub, playing touch rugby and working together are times I will never forget. We haven't seen each other in years, but when someone special comes into your life, you never forget them. To your family Terry, I send my love and thoughts. To your friends, you will never be forgotten. Taken far too soon. RIP Terry.
