Terje MOEN Obituary

I came upon this obituary by accident, but I think I was in Mr Richard Pengelly´s class at Remuera Intermediate School with Terry Moen, a very bright student, probably in 1957 and 1958. I remember many of my classmates from this time, and often wonder how they have fared in life, but I moved to Tasmania in 1968, so lost my earlier associations. My condolences to his family.

I was fortunate enough to work with Terje at Watercare many years ago as part of the Pond Management Team when it was first formed. He was modest, kind, and exceptionally clever and could always be relied on to provide our small specialist team with the well thought out correct answer! Myself, Dr Dinah Brockett and Ted Taylor valued him immensely.

Terry [as he was known at university] and I shared a room in our first professional year at Ardmore Engineering School in 1966. He was a good room-mate. my condolences to Mary his wife and all the family [Since graduating from engineering school at the end of 1969, I have been in {and still am} civil and structural engineering {minus a break of 4 years 1976-1980}]
