Teresa GILL Obituary
GILL, Teresa Celine (Tess). Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Christchurch Hospital on Sunday November 20, 2022 aged 94 years. Beloved wife of the late James (Jim). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Gabrielle and Chris (deceased), Paul and Cynthia, Peter and Cathryn, Jacinta and Glenn, Joanne, Philippa and David (deceased), Celine (deceased), Gerard and Mary, Anthony, Maxine, James and Kirstin, Catherine and Steve. Much loved grandma of her 38 grandchildren and great grandma (GG) of her 47 great grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Joseph Manning (deceased), Sr Madeline Manning RSM (deceased), Sr Bernadette Manning SMSM (deceased), John (deceased) and Jan Manning. Messages to the Gill family c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. A Requiem Mass for Tess will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church, 90 Greers Road, Christchurch on Thursday November 24, 2022 at 11.00am followed by interment at Belfast cemetery. Rosary will be recited at the Church on Wednesday November 23 at 5.30pm. R.I.P

I am so sad to read of the death of Tess. Her family and mine lived near each other in earlier years. Throughout her life, Tess was a shining example of all that is good. May she now rest in peace in God's house. John Darby
