Terence O'MEARA Obituary

O'MEARA, Terence Paul (Terryo). Born 26th November 1943; Passed away on the 19th April 2025 at the age of 81. Treasured and loved husband, best friend and soulmate to Sandra, beloved father to Louise, Paula, Wendy and Lisa, and father-in-law to Ross, Derrick and Dave, Papa (Pa) to his 15 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandy's. You have been my rock for 57 and a half years, and I feel so lost without you by my side, but I know your love will guide me forever. Terry's service will be held at Ruakaka Memorial Hall, 7 Sandford Road, Ruakaka on Thursday 24th April 2025 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Bream Bay Ambulance Station would be appreciated. All communications please to the O'Meara family, PO Box 241, Ruakaka 0151. Very fond memories of Terry, Sandra and the girls from our time in Ruakaka through the 70's. As kids, Terry was always having us on and entertaining us with jokes, tricks and stories. Terry was a 'Salt of the earth bloke' who will be missed by all. Rest in peace Terry (Gollygolly) , Love to Sandra & the rest of the family

We are so so sorry Sandra. Terry was a wonderful beautiful Man.
It was such a a pleasure knowing him. I was so proud of him when he was named Ruakaka Citizen of the Year.
So deserved.
He had the biggest heart and the nicest smile.
He will be missed by us all.
