In loving memory of Ted Hipkiss who passed away in Whakatane on 3 April 2025. Much loved brother of Tom, brother in law to Gaye and uncle to Sarah and Timothy. We remember with love and will miss his humour, his kindness and his love and joy in family, cricket and gardening.

I'm so sad to read of the passing of my old mate Ted.I had just been in touch with him on his birthdat through FB so its quite a shock to see this.
Ted and I opened the bowling for Northern Districts in the late 60's.Things were also very different then in the cricket world and we were billited together with the Patersons on the old Ruakura Experimental Farm.No hotels in those days.
