It is with deep sadness and grief that we farewell Tahuna Minhinnick who has gifted us with the power of thought, determination and the strength of mind to protect the iwi of Ngati Te Ata with pride. We offer our deepest sympathy to his wife Lisa, and their children Atea, Ngaiwi and Brian Kahukoka, his son Te Ahu Raumati and mokopuna Marty Rowan, Jayden and Christie-Jay Raumati at this sad time. To his parents, Kahurangi Nganeko and Matua Eden, his siblings and mokopuna, we offer our deepest condolences at this enormous loss to the iwi. Tahuna is laying in Teuwira, at Tahuna Pa Marae, Tahuna Pa Marae Road, Waiuku. We will celebrate his last evening with us on Monday, before closing his casket pre-dawn on Tuesday 8th of March. We will hold his service at 11am Burial will take place at 12pm Funeral reception at 1pm.
