Sylvia ORUM Obituary
ORUM, Sylvia Mavis (nee Roberts) Peacefully on Saturday the 6th of December 2014 surrounded by her family at Selwyn Oaks Retirement Village; aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Percy. Loved mother and mother-in law of Peter and Elaine and Colin and Ula. Loved Nana of Julie and Warren, Lisa and Glen, Tim and Joss, David and Josey and Michelle. Loved Great Nana to her ten great grandchildren. The family thanks all the staff at Selwyn Oaks for all their love, care and consideration shown to Mum over the past 3 years. The End of an Era. A service to farewell Sylvia will be held in the Fountains Memorial Chapel, Cnr Elliot and Wood Streets Papakura; tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11am. Wow, what a wonderful woman she was...I remember the mischief in Aunty Sylvia's eyes, and the fun that always seemed to follow her.. she was always wonderful to be with both as a child and as an adult...I have some lovely memories of her and will always hold them safe in my heart.
een a family who have shown great love for each other such a strong quality...Of course it is so sad to see her gone as she was the last one, but I am so very grateful for the opportunity to have had her in my life...
Deepest sympathy to her sons, daughters, and her grand children..
