Sylvia HENDERSON Obituary

HENDERSON, Sylvia Godwin. Peacefully at home on 29 June, aged 84. Wife of the late Bruce. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Jane and John, Sally and Clive, Mike and Judi, Sandy and Ange, devoted Grandmother of Rachel, the late Michael, Josh, Adrian, Jessica, Dom, Jedd, Melissa, Kaitlin, Eli and Lewie, Great- Grandmother of Elisha-Rose, Breea, Nicolai and Jethro. A funeral service will be held at 10.30am on Wednesday 4 July at St Francis Church, corner of Park Road and Titirangi Beach Road. State of Grace Limited 0800-764-722.

John and Claire Geddes send their profound sympathy to Sylvia's family. She had such a capacity for living and on the 29th she was to join John and I at McAndrew Hall for a revival celebration of its past productions. Heidi Monk the present owner was so delighted when we showed her Ethelwynn Geddes Drama book which is to be treasured - apparently Bruce Henderson acted in productions and constructed the stage. A wonderful record which is now at Rangiwai. Our love to all her family.
