TREADWELL, Suzanne. 20.08.1934-10.07.2023 Passed away peacefully in Taupo surrounded by family. Loved wife of Hugh for 68 years. Special mum and mother in law to Penny and Keith, Brigite and Derek and Kimmy and Rob. Treasured grammy to Gemma, Nicholas, Tom, Brad, Hannah and Holly. G G to all her great grandies. The family would like to thank St Johns Wood rest home for the thoughtful care they provided for Sue. A private family cremation has taken place. Very sincere condolences to Hugh and his family. My late husband Allan and I met Hugh and Sue through our mutual interest in Ngaurukehu, Mataroa - a place very dear to their hearts, and where they raised their family. Our interest in Ngaurukehu stems back more than 100 years ago and beyond when Thomas Adamson and his wife Nika resided there and built the first house on the property.
