Susan BLACKSHAW Obituary

BLACKSHAW, Susan Jane (Sue) (nee Humphries). On 4th September 2025 peacefully passed away at the Waipuna Hospice, aged 78years, Dearly loved wife of Barry Blackshaw and cherished wife of the late Stephen Humphries. Mother and mother-in-law to Richard and Kiri, Deb and Jon, Clare and Wayne, and Jon. Stepmother to Gareth and Jane, Lynne (deceased) and Gary. Grandmother (Mottie) to Sam (deceased), Jimmy, Ellie, Aimee, Olive and Ella. Step Grandmother to Broghan, Tamara, Cerys and Harry. In accordance with Sue's wishes a private cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held.

Such a lovely lady - gentle and kind.
She will be sadly missed by many dogs and their owners alike - our walks won't be the same without her smiling face.

Sue was a treasured neighbour in Omokoroa. Our wee dog adored her; she always had a treat (or 5) for him. She was often out walking in her shorts, with a smile and a friendly word for everyone. Rest in peace Sue, we miss you very much.
