SMITH, Su'a Fuifuiomalo Fiu John Daniel (Danny). 2 March 1941 - 9 August 2011 Peacefully passed away surrounded by his family at ICU Auckland Hospital at 4: 25 pm, age 70. Ever-Devoted husband of Malia Agnes Philomena Smith nee Liu Kui. Beloved father of Daniel and Angela, Eric and Natalia, Leonie and Sef, Venus and Joe, Helen and Poni, Sunita and John, Carmelia and Francis, Andrea, Nina, Tino, Alfred. Jr and Leiko and all of his nephews, nieces and families. Cherished Papa to Erica, Tristan, Dajohn, Estella, Jacob, Philomena, David, Malokalala, Daniel, Johanas, Sunshine, Dominic, Joseph, Asupa, Sebastian, Helen, Leonie, Fittler, Retric, Ellery, Elgin, Alilyah, Oscar, Khan and Grand daughter (in utero). Beloved son of the late Meleane Smith and Tanielu Tui'gamala and the late Anastasia Tafialemasina Liu Kui, Taua Fanueli and Mieczyslaw (Mike) Weglowski. Cherished baby brother of the late Seumanu Sam, Su'a Tautala, Fugala'au Margaret Meredith, Puapuaga Hunter and Anastasia Reidy. Survived by Fugalevao Hunt. Family service will be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church 456 Great North Road, Grey Lynn 7:30 pm on Tuesday 16 August 2011, Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the above church at 11:00 am Wednesday 17 August 2011 followed by internment at the Waikumete Cemetery.
