Stuart SHEPPARD Obituary

SHEPPARD, Stuart Robert (Bob). 31 December 1936 - 27 November 2025. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Heather. Much loved Dad of Tina and Craig, Wendy and John. Treasured Grandpa of Kathryn and Henry, David, Steve and Valerie, Anna; Daniel and Ravindi, Sam and Gemma. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Dave and Bernarda, Brian, Meryl and Fin, Harry and Lorraine; Beryl, Ila; and loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at Whangarei Central Baptist Church, 202 Bank Street, Regent, Whangarei, on Thursday 4 December at 1.00pm, followed by burial at Maunu Cemetery. Heartfelt thanks to the Jane Mander Rest Home / Dual Care Centre team for their care of Bob, and special thanks to Mafida and Tracy.

I was in touch with Bob a few years ago and regret not following up. We were neighbours in the 50s, I think Bob had just left home. Meryl and Brian were more my brother's and my age. My mother wrote of that period at Motukiore as a golden age for our family, I have a few photographs (of modest quality) of that time, if anyone would like see them.
