Dear Norah and family. It was with much sadness that we learned of Stu's passing. He was such a lovely, gentle man - a gentle giant of a man. I have fond memories of him from my childhood (from the many tugowar outings our family's shared). I knew him as someone who was always kind. This memory prevails and now as an adult I know that his kindness and goodness came from a core of rock-solid values. He was one of the good ones! He was not only strong of body, but also of character. And, he was a good and respected friend of my dad's, which further escalates him in my esteem.
I know that Stu will be deeply and sadly missed by you all, but I also know that you will treasure the many wonderful memories that you are blessed to have of him; along with the wonderful legacy he has left, which I know will continue to live on through you all.
Sadly, Mum (Margaret Schuler) and I are unable to attend the service on Saturday, celebrating Stu's life.
We hope that the service brings you joy and peace as you remember Stu, his life, and his goodness, and that in this the pain of loss will be eased a little. Sending our deep condolences and blessings, and holding you in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
With much love
Catherine and Margaret
