I was truly shaken and shocked when Pete told me of Lyn's phone call. You have been there ever since Pete and I started 'going out'..We had lots and lots of fun, laughs - good times. You were our bestman at our wedding - over 41 years ago. My love and thoughts are with Bev, Lyn, Emma, Alex and all the family and friends in this very sad loss. You are at peace. You will always be in our memories. Christine Grindrod xxxxxxxxx

Steve you were my most enduring friend for 47 years we started work as 17 year olds and became firm friends for a very long time. The two motorcycle tours we did together will forever be fond memories of our friendship. Ride free mate you will not be forgotten.

What a shock it was to hear of Steve's passing. The day after I heard the news the impact of it affected me deeply in an unforeseen way. Since then all I can think of is the many shared adventures and experiences and times we enjoyed together - meals, conversations, trips away to exotic lands...the memories of times we spent together are priceless. Thanks mate for your friendship, fun, support and camaraderie. It's farewell for now but not goodbye, see you again one day. With Affection, your mate Phil.
