I first met Steve when he visited Ireland in 2006. We immediately became friends and shared many adventures in Dublin over the year. I visited NZ in 2008 where he opened his home and his country to me which led to some of the most memorable times in my life. After I returned to Ireland we lost contact as people do. I reached out some years later only to find the heartbreaking news that he had passed which has led to much regret on my behalf.
Every once in a while I remember that cheeky smile and infectious laugh.

Stevie my darling not a moment goes by without you in it. My heart is broken and tears constantly flow. My love for you my beautiful young son is immeasurable. I am in this world but not of it, for I go about doing what I have to to live in it with such a heavy heart. Your brother Marc and your Dad love you and feel the same loss.
