Steven BENEFIELD Obituary

BENEFIELD, Steven Matthew (Steve). (Stephen to his mother) passed away on 10 December 2014 after listening to the Tui's morning call from the native garden one last time. Only just old enough to have claimed his pension, Steve passed away peacefully after a brave 10 month battle against cancer. Steve was much loved, and will live on the hearts of his partner Maggie, his children Luke, Ainsley and Julian, his best mate Colin, his siblings Bill, Michael, Mary, Patrick, Gerald, Chris and Jacinta, and his many nieces and nephews. His late parents Molly and Des and his beloved brother Martin will look after him now. A private family funeral was held on Friday in accordance with his wishes. Lake Taupo Hospice were a fantastic support in allowing Steve to be at home, so donations to Hospice would be welcomed instead of flowers. Taupo Funeral Services Ltd FDANZ
