Condolences to Stephen´s family and those close to him from Rowena Bakalich née Bettridge and family. We farmed on Waerenga Road over the road from the Bagley family. I was In Stephen´s class at Waerenga primary.
I have lasting memories of school days at Waerenga, one being calf club day, flower arrangement, sharing equal first prize with Stephen.
His was an arrangement in a conch shell and mine a hollowed out loaf of stale bread.

Such a shock to hear of Stephen´s passing. Our condolences go to you all, including close friends and neighbour. Steve will be missed so much. A great gentleman. We were planning to go to his Funeral Service but Mike is unwell today.

My deepest condolences to you all with the passing of Stephen. I was very sorry to hear this from my family the Bagley's who used to farm in Waerenga and went to school with his brothers and sisters. Although its been a while since we last met up on your farm, and even longer that Steve worked behind a draughting machine, I have been kept up to date with your 'happenings' over coffees with Bruce P.
