Stephen MRKUSIC Obituary

MRKUSIC, Stephen Victor. Born 10 June 1928 passed away serenely on 9 June 2021. Soulmate to Kerry for 64 years. Adored father of Anna, Lisa, Simon and Nick. Great friend to Martin, Tracey and Gareth. Inspirational Dide to Sam, Tom, Sol, Sophie, Misha, Finn, Ruby, Mattea, Piers, Liri and Rufus. Devoted Pra Dide to Ava, Georgia, Cian, Madeline, Lelia, Lewis, Tadhg, Billy and Elia. A friend to many, fellow of the NZ Institute of Architects and dedicated olive and lemon farmer. Humble, principled, loyal, strong. Steve lived a life of integrity and gratitude. Cared for lovingly by his family, especially in his final months. A sincere thank you to all who looked after him at Aria Gardens, St John and North Shore Hospital. A celebration of Steve's life will be held at North Shore Memorial Park Chapel, 235 Schnapper Rock Road Albany, Auckland at 1 pm on Monday 14 June.
