Stephen MITCHELL Obituary

My family became friends with Steve during his time in Melbourne and really valued his friendship. Steve was such a kind gentle man and I was fortunate to meet up with him twice in Auckland last year. Another catch up was planned on 20 January 2020 when our cruise ship was in Auckland for the day. I last messaged Steve on Christmas Day and he was looking forward to catching up with my husband and I, daughter Julie and two grandchildren that day.
We are deeply saddened by his passing and send our sincere condolences to his family.

So sad to lose you just after catching up with you recently.Such a gentle and kind man.My brother and I wanted so much for that reunion that never got planned.Many old school memories.RIP Steve Mitchell.
