Stephen HAYWARD Obituary

HAYWARD, Stephen Charles (Steve). Beloved Father of Isaac, Chris and Joseph. Passed away on the 9th of April 2026, from a heart attack while doing what he loved, continuing his long involvement in rallying as service crew at the Otago Classic Rally. Survived by his siblings Peter, Yvonne, Shelley, Marcia, Desmond, Cynthia, Clyde and Matthew and sorely missed by his grandchildren Keegan, Jessica, Caitlin, Aysha, Matthew, Keana, Ariana and Tyler. Funeral will be held at Manukau Memorial Gardens, (361 Puhinui Road, Manukau), at 11am on Friday 17 April, followed by a reception on site. Guests are invited to the Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club (53 Rangitoto Road, Papatoetoe) for drinks and to share some stories of Steve's life with family following the reception.
