Stephen FOOKES Obituary

FOOKES, Stephen Faber (Fooksey) RNZAF S92108 F/S, ACFT Tech. Sadly, our brave Steve lost his battle to cancer on 18 April 2014, aged 47 years. Beloved husband to Carmen, devoted dad to Lydia and Patrick. Son of Anna and the late Paddy. Number one son in law of Tony, Marnie and the late Frank. Mischievous, loving brother of John, Paul and Jo, brother in law to Beth, Andrew, Anna, Mex, Paul and Luke. Fun uncle to his many nieces and nephews, and best friend to hundreds. A celebration of his life will be held at RNZAF base Whenuapai on Wednesday 23 April 2014 at 1.00pm. All invited. In lieu of flowers, donations will be collected at the service for the awesome North Shore Hospice. Messages may be sent to PO Box 65-528, Mairangi Bay, Auckland. Hasta manana baby.

Fookers what a bugger Mate. Its been over 28years since I last saw you. The old days at Rosehill College & Foodtown. You always cracked me up especially when you sat me in the front seat of your Hillman Avenger & did wheelies around the RSA car park in Papakura. You were always full of life & I knew to watch out if I got to smart (As I always did) cause you would give he a bit of a clip. Sad sad sad brother!!
