Stephen CORLETT Obituary
CORLETT, Stephen John (Steve) In his 80th year. Dearest darling husband of Jessie. After a long courageous battle with cancer the angels came on 15th March 2014 and wrapped him in their most beautiful angel wings ever created. It broke my heart my darling, to see you suffering as you fought to stay with me. With tears in my eyes, as I cradled you in my arms, you slipped away. Fly my angel with the beautiful spirit and be free and at peace at last. Thank you for all our wonderful years of beautiful memories. I will love you for ever and ever, till the tides stop flowing, the stars stop twinkling, and the moon and sun never shine again. That's - till the end of time. Dearly loved father of Danae and Paul McPhee, Graeme and Caryl, Craig (deceased) and Karen, and dearly loved and respected stepdad to Suzan and Ed Hoeg, Tania and Ross Holloway, and Julie and Steve Brittain. Dearly loved grandad to Steve and Jessie's 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A life made beautiful by kindly deeds, a helping hand for others needs, generous was your heart and friendship true, loved and respected by all he knew. A huge thank you to all who helped Steve and Jessie, making their lives easier during this difficult time, including the wonderful carers, district nurses, doctors and hospice. Thankyou all so very much. Steve will be at home until his funeral today, Wednesday 19th March at 2pm at Romaleigh Funeral Home, 31 Ocean View Road, Northcote.

Steve a brave well fought battle, a true gentleman. Now free from pain and sitting up there in Heaven taking watch over Jess. We will miss you at camp and the advise on good fishing spots. Jess will miss you terribly but family and friends will look after her for you. Fly free Steve.

Steve was a deeply caring family man who passed knowing he was loved completely. He touched so many lives from all parts of the world during his journey, and truly valued all those friendships. Be proud Steve.
