Our deepest thoughts are with all the family during this hard time of losing Stephen. I had only known Stephen for 25 years and during that time he had made a big impact on my life and will always remember the good times that i had with his dear late wife Colleen and him at the Point Chev RSA and more recently at the Grey Lynn RSC with the late John Instance. It seems like just the other day that i spoke with him at Bunnings and wish now that I had more time to chat a bit more. His witty humor will never be forgotten RIP Matey

Murray & Margaret McKay

Our deepest condolences to Leda, Natasha, Shona and Karl and all of your children. Steve loved you all dearly. Murray has known Steve for about 70 years and Margaret for over 60. We always found him great fun despite his roguish ways! One thing was certain and that was his devotion to his beloved Colleen. We loved them both and saw a lot of them when we lived in Auckland. After they were married they lived with us for a while until they found a flat. Steve was our best man and Murray was his when they were married.
