Stead ELLIS Obituary

ELLIS, Stead Arthur. Born 1936, died peacefully in Wellington on December 28, 2024. Stead lived the first half of his life in Wellington and Auckland, and the second half in The Netherlands and Denmark. Loved Dad of Briony and Roger, Markman and Becky, and Grandpa of Milla. Loved husband of the late Marianne, stepdad to Thor and Camilla, and Peter and Linda. Loved little brother of the late Beverley and Robin. A private family cremation has been held.

I was very saddened to hear that Stead had passed away. Stead was a great friend during my years at Pharmaco and it was always a pleasure meeting up with him in later years in the Netherlands and Denmark. Stead was a true gentleman in all senses of the word. My sincere condolences to Briony, Markman and family.

Worked with Stead and visited him in Copenhagen enroute home from England had dinner with him and Marianne. Sorry to hear that he has passed we are all getting to that stage in lifenunfortunately. Heather Bowen
