Stanley YOUNG Obituary

YOUNG, Stanley George. Passed away peacefully at Jervois Residences, Auckland on Tuesday 29 December 2020. Aged 96 years. A long life lived to the fullest. Born in Nottingham UK 30 September 1924, adventured to New Zealand in 1949 and never left. Devoted husband of 47 years to Connie (n?e Bentley) deceased, born Nottingham UK. Also loved companion for 17 years to Buddug (Beth) Davies, deceased. Much loved father, mentor and friend to Jeffrey and loved, respected and admired father-in-law of Linda. Very special thanks to staff of Jervois Residential Care facility and Dr Glenn Reeve, who have provided exceptional love and care to Stan. A private family cremation has been held and a celebration of Stan's life will be held at a future date on Waiheke Island.
