As Dave Allen used to say Stanley, "May your God go with you"
Warm hugs to the whole family. Memories are flooding in. Did we succeed in "keeping New Zealand green?"

Marie and Stan emigrated with their 2 children, Ian and Kathryn, in the early 1970s.Like most families they had their ups and downs, but, in time, they settled into life in NZ.Stan was always busy with one project or another and Marie became a headmistress in a High School. The family was completed with 2 more children and there was no going back.In retirement there was no let up. The project of extending their homestead went on full pelt.Sadly, in recent times, Stan had a series of what were diagnosed as mini- strokes, but they transpired to be the onset of MND.We can't be there to comfort the family, particularly Marie. We just hope that they come to terms with the situation and bear in mind that the best memorial to Stan is to carry on and honour his memory by not wasting a minute of that precious thing, life.Frank and Pam LeesStephen, Anita and Alfie Lees Graham and Jenny Lees
