Stanley NICKEL Obituary

NICKEL, Stanley Ross (Ross). Of Waihou, tragically died in an accident in Te Aroha on Thursday. Dearly loved husband of his late wife Jennifer, loved partner of Cyrilla, adored father of Sheryl (father-in-law of Peter) and Rhonda, cherished grandad of Jessica, Grace, Lola and Chloe, brother of Colin, Gordon, Dene, Allen, and Owen . A beautiful kind funny loving sole that will be truly missed and forever in our hearts. Dad we are all totally devastated you were taken from us so suddenly. Service to be held at Te Aroha race course Friday 21st January at 11am.

So sorry to hear of the passing of your amazing Dad & Grandad.
What a wonderful man he was, a loving caring man & along with Jennifer awesome landlords to us. So sorry we can't be there today as you say your 'goodbyes', we have other commitments, but we're thinking of you all as you remember Ross today only a year after losing your Mum & Nanna. Sheryl and Rhonda, we were so sorry to hear about the devastating loss of your lovely father. I have very fond memories of times in my childhood with Ross and Jennifer and it just feels so wrong that they were both taken so tragically.
