Stanley JULIAN Obituary
JULIAN, Stanley Alfred (Stan). Born 29 th June 1931 Passed peacefully 2 nd March 2025 at Kaitaia Hospital surrounded by his loving Whanau. Loved and cherished Dad/ Kaumatua of Chris, Bronnie, Veronica, Margi, Bill, Patty and Ruth. Loved father in law of Phil, Mark and Bronnie. Adored Grandad of Nicola and Stevie, Scott, Angie and Claire, Matt and Portia, Dominique, Anthony, Danielle and Ryan, Kristin and Kellie. Great Grandad to Isabelle and Jacob, Maddie and Ollie, Lincoln, Portia and Paris, Emmett, Cullen. Stan was filled with wisdom and wit. He always had a good old yarn to share. A totara has fallen in the forest of Tane. Huge thanks to the amazing team at Kaitaia Hospital who looked after Stan and his whanau in his last days at The Haven. A service for Stan will be held on the 15th of March 2025 at 1pm at the Eastern Rugby Clubrooms in Taipa. All communications through Geards funeral home 09 4080970.

Last time I saw Stan he would've been 37 and living in Herekino. I was about 10 and riding one of his dads trucks. Also knew his Dad Alf who lived 3 houses down the road in Broadwood. Co Owner, I assume, Bill Dyer, who lived between us and Alf. The famous or infamous Julian and Dyer Transport Co. Went to school (Primmers) in Herekino for a year or 2 with Billy. Was wanting to drop in on Stan as also I just moved to Cable Bay but didn't happen. Kua hinga he Kauri nui i waenganui i a matou (A great tree has fallen amongst us) Arohanui ki te Whanau pani. Would have attended service but have to be in Akl that weekend
