Stanley GLASGOW Obituary

GLASGOW, Stanley William (Stan). On Friday 21st December 2012 at Waikato Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Aged 78 years. Loved husband of Gay. Special step father to Shelley and Stefan, and Craig and Tracey. Loving poppa to Cayden, Kael and Lachlan. A celebration of Stan's life be held at The Waitomo Club, King Street East, Te Kuiti on Friday 28th December at 11.00 am followed by interment at The Piopio Public Cemetery. My memories of Stan date from the 60's and 70's when I worked for a competitor of Stan and his Company, Rural Air Services Ltd. I well remember taxiing past Stan's office at Te Kuiti Airfield in my Robertson Air Service Fletcher aircraft and seeing Stan sitting at his desk doing his office work and hoping that it wasn't some of my usual work he was invoicing. He was a good competitor. Remembered with respect.
