DOWNARD, Stanley Bruce (Stan). (Service No. 444479, NZ Army, WWII). On September 11, 2010 after a brief illness, at Auckland City Hospital; aged 87 years. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Wilfrid and Phyllis, and the late Annette and loved uncle of Rosemary and Chris, Alison and Keith, and Paul and Fiona. A graveside service will be held at the Onetangi Lawn Cemetery, Waiheke Island (Returned Services Area) on Saturday September 18 at 1pm.
