Stancie BRUCE Obituary

BRUCE, Stancie Moira. Died peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Summerset Mountain View on Monday 2 April 2018. Aged 93 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Ken. Dearly loved mother and friend of David and Bernadette, Jeffrey and Daniel, Linley and Stuart. Loving Gran of Ivan and Lauren, and Darin; Matthew and Hayley, Jonathan, Emma, Hannah and Blayne; Tamara and Andrew, Rhys and Mel. Loving Great-Gran to her 8 great-grandchildren. All messages to 36/35 Fernbrook Drive, New Plymouth 4310. Sincere appreciation to the Access caregivers and wonderful staff at the Summerset Care Unit. A celebration of Stancie's life will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Henui Street, Fitzroy, New Plymouth on Monday 9 April 2018 at 10.30am. Private cremation to follow.

Dear Mr Bruce, so sorry to hear of Stancies passing. We are all thinking of you and the family at this time and so glad we had the opportunity of visiting you a few years ago. You were both a wonderful influence in our lives at Welbourn School. Fond memories of the productions we did and Stancies choreography. Stancie was very helpful to me persoannly as a teenager. A life well lived. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family today; Linda Brewster(nee McMahon), also on behalf of Sue Long (nee Paddy), Christine Allan-Johns (nee Allan), Sue Todd, (nee Zimmerman), and Judy Day.

I attended welborn school in the 60s. Mrs. Bruce was an amazing inspiration to us and had a real influence on my education. Our productions at the Bowl of Brooklands are memories I treasure. Thank you so much Mr and Mrs Bruce. You were both amazing caring teachers.
