MORRIS, Sonja Katherine (nee Covic) Passed away on 25-12-2013. To Sonja I saw your struggle, I felt your pain. You shone like a bright beacon in the darkness and the stillness of the night. A bright diamond in a sea of sand. You never judged me but accepted me for how I was. We never argued but lived in harmonious joy. Even though life isn't fair, you understood that life was what it was. I witnessed your courage to follow your innermost feelings, your spirit never crushed and your flame of hope never extinguished. Like the phoenix, you rose and rose again. You lived your life to your very best. Your integrity, honesty, loyalty and trust worthiness always at the fore - a living example to all. In you lived no anger or bitterness. In you lived a forgiveness unattainable to most others. You lived in the light with a dignity borne from true humility. You laid a road map for life and inspired me to follow my heart. You taught me that darkness can be overcome through our choice to follow a different path. You were like a strong and wonderful tree, the fruit of which Adam, Jonathan, Jordan and wee Julian are blessed by. Sonja, you battled courageously in the coliseum of life with passion, compassion, empathy, love and a great forgiveness for others. A bright and shining life well lived. Rest In Peace Sonja, forever in my heart. Your loving cousin Paul Huljich and family.

Sonja, I will miss you so much. You have Helped me, more than you will ever know. You will always be in my HEART. Thank you for such a wonderful job, you have done, looking after and supporting our 3 boys. I am sorry, I could not always be there to help you. You have taught us all, so much about caring. Sonja... it was a privilege to have been your friend. I will miss our long phone conversations and our holidays together. You were part our lives for over 40 years. We miss you dearly.

Sonja, You were a beautiful gracious lady. A pleasure to have known and worked for you at Hilaire Elizabeth all those years ago. Very happy memories of my time there with you. So pleased that we met up with you only a few weeks ago and had a lovely evening.
