NANAYAKKARA, Siri. Most respected, loving and devoted husband of Swinitha; adored father of Dharsh, Shewanthi, Sam, Nic, Jarrod, and Jeroen. Much loved Seeya to Luke, Anneke, Elizabeth, Sebastian, and Mariella. Surrounded by his family, peacefully walked with God and his angels as the sun rose on Saturday 21 January 2012. You will always be our darling. We are so lucky to have had you in our lives. We will always love and adore you. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Mary Star of the Sea Church, Campion Road, Gisborne at 1pm on Wednesday 25 January followed by private cremation. Dr Siri was the best doctor in the whole country if not the world. He was a gentle man and gentleman. I know for all of the great good Dr Siri did on earth he would he received many rewards from Jesus. Blessings to the Whanau

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to your family for your loss. Dr Nanayakara has been our family Doctor 'forever' , so sad to see his passing. He oversaw the birth of my youngest sister Orini and brother Jade and my neice Keera and looked after our whole familys health for over 40 years, we are so grateful.
