I had the pleasure of travelling to the UK in 1960 with Vin travelling on the NZ Shipping Co Rangitane, and then studying at Oxford at the same time. I have a good photo collection of the voyage in 1960, including involvement in a play that he had written for a shipboard concert. If any of the family are interested I would be happy to sent digital copies of the photos and a brief account of the play. My name is Rob Aspden and can be contacted on ph 09 424 3693.

I send my love and condolences to Dominic, Deirdre and their families and I am grateful for a long friendship with Vincent, dating back to our student days at Auckland University. Rest in peace, dear Vincent.
