Sieni LESLIE Obituary

LESLIE, Sieni (Jenny). Princess Sieni was born at Vailima, Samoa 27 May 1944 and passed away 21st August at her home in Whangarei. Daughter of Mua Finau of Vailima and Verdie Allison of Baxter, Tennessee. Devoted wife of Bill and sister of Fiamama who were both with her till the end, proud mother of William, Grace, Ilona, Shana and their partners. Super grandma and great gran. Proud of her Samoan heritage, she was also proud of her several European bloodlines. A Teacher, mother, farmers wife, businessman's wife, High Court Crier and Interpreter, and almost a fulltime golfer, she was twice a N Z champion, North Island, Provincial and Club champion many times, but always a Princess. Thanks to all who helped her through her 21year battle fighting a terminal illness. As per her wish's her family only cremation took place at Maunu on the 25th August, arranged by Morris and Morris.
