Shyrelle MITCHELL Obituary

MITCHELL, Shyrelle (nee Andrews). Kia ora e te whaanau, It is with great sadness that we share with you the sudden passing of our Mum, Shyrelle Mitchell (nee Andrews). The loving daughter of Norrene and Peter, wife of Brian, sister of Wayde, and mother of Lucy, Sasha, Kelly and Aimee. She passed peacefully in Ootautahi Christchurch on Ash Wednesday, 18 February 2026 due to an undetermined medical event. Shyrelle was a force in all ways. She loved hard, held strong to her faith, and was committed to her practice. If ever you needed her, she was there for you. We will miss her so dearly. Mum will have her tangi/ funeral on Saturday, 28 February at 11:00am at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick and Saint Joseph (St Patrick's Cathedral), Auckland Central.
