Shona was a lovely being who I got to meet when we were younger as a passionate teen on the governance board for the Werry Centre. She was a great allie who made sure teens were well represented. Shona used her experiences for positive change and I'm sure will be missed.

It was with deep regret that I heard of Shona's passing and I would like to send my sincerest sympathy to Shona's family, friends and colleagues. Shona was a lovely, smart, sassy, intelligent young person who had the ability to aim for the stars and to reach them. She was highly regarded by her peers and fellow associates and a lovely person to boot. Shona has gone too soon she still had so much to give. Wishing you all God's every blessing may he comfort you in your time of sorry

Shona was an important part of my journey learning to see the value of experience and using that with an intent to help others. Her enthusiasm was contagious and her encouragement warm and kind. I will forever view my interactions with her as building a part of who I am today. I am sad that more people will not get to meet Shona, and I am glad I had the chance.

Shona, we had a lot of fun. You were always up for silliness, a very fine character trait. I'll miss your laugh and wish you could have stayed a bit longer. We've all lost a lovely soul. Love you xxx

Farewell Shona, I wish you were able to recognise the impact that your compassion and humour had on the world. Those of us left behind can see it clearly. You will be sorely missed.

I was lucky to work with and know Shona as a friend and colleague. Shona was a person who cared deeply about others. She was a brave and resilient person despite the pain she experienced, and always made the time to be kind. I will miss her. I am so sad that this world will not get to continue to benefit from her passion and advocacy for social change. She was one in a million. My condolences to her family, in this difficult time.
