Shirley REED Obituary

REED, Shirley Dawn Jesse (Dawn). Peacefully at Matariki Hospital, Te Awamutu on 7th December 2021, aged 96. Dearly beloved wife of the late Jim and loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Jim and Sharen, Warwick and Kathryn, Elizabeth and Marcus. Loved Nana of five, great Nana of eight and great, great Nana of 3. Loved partner and travelling companion of the late Jim Carson for 21 years.The family expresses a very sincere thanks to the staff at Matariki Hospital and Beattie Home for their wonderful and loving care shown to Mum. In keeping with Mum's wishes a private cremation has taken place and a family memorial will be held in 2022. All communications to Jim and Sharen Reed, 193 Te Kuiti Rd, Otorohanga. Thoughts are with you all.Aunty Dawn was always the fun Auntie, always ready for some fun and and an adventure. Many years ago Dawn and Jim drove all the way to St Albert Alberta to stay with Brian and I.
She is now at peace with her lovely Jim´s.
