Our friend Shirley, a lady who so lived life to the full. We will always remember her as an organised, caring, fun loving person.
It was such a delight after working with Shirley at Shell Oil many years ago to then meet her again and rekindle our friendship at Pauanui. Her meticulously detailed work with Margaret within the Pauanui community was tireless and had tremendous achievements. We have wonderful memories of great conversations and many enjoyable times spent in Shirley's company. Rest in Peace Shirley. Ginny and Don Bunt

A remarkable person who spent most of her life helping groups in which she was involved. This she did brilliantly working tirelessly behind the scenes to achieve some amazing achievements. Shirley had an outstanding ability to recognise what was needed to help both in civic and sporting organisations. Netball, especially in the North Harbour area benefited and developed under her administration. Shirley had an ability to inspire others to work towards a common goal and also displaying an engaging personality. Briefly Shirley was the perfect C.E.O. any organisation would have been proud. I admired Shirley greatly and feel privileged to have known her, worked along side her and as well as having her as a trusted friend. Rest well and God bless you.
