JOSEPH PRZYBYSZ Obituary

PRZYBYSZ JOSEPH DAVID, 73 , of Houghton Lake Heights passed away on Thursday August 7, 2014 at home with his loving family by his side. Joseph was born on October 28, 1940 in Hamtramck, Michigan to Joseph and Sylvia(Kalish) Przybysz. He graduated from Hamtramck High School and attended Madonna University in Detroit. Joseph served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Joseph was a Police Officer for Wayne County Sheriff's Department and then the Redford Twp. Police Department from which he retired. On November 28, 1964 in Germfask, Michigan Joseph married Annette Cecilia Brow. The couple moved from Redford to Houghton Lake Heights in 1996. Joseph was a member of the Harrison Moose and Tamaracks Golf Club. He was an avid fisherman and golfer, with many trophies adorning his home. Surviving Mr. Przybysz are his loving wife of nearly 50 years Annette Cecilia Prsybysz of Houghton Lake Heights; two brothers, Thomas (Betty) Przysybz of PA, and Matthew (Carol) Przybysz of Grosse Pointe Woods. Funeral Services for Joseph David Przybysz will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2014 from Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel. Visitation will be held on Monday August 11, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel.
