Shirley LEINEWEBER Obituary

LEINEWEBER, Shirley Patricia. Our adored Mum and Nana, and Norm's beautiful Irish rose passed away peacefully and surrounded with love on Sunday 6th June 2021. She etched in our hearts that family is everything, created a home that was the centre of our world, and showed us that calmness and kindness with a good pinch of Irish determination can see us through life's highs and lows. She will live forever in the hearts and stories of her children, Sue, Robyn, Jan, Jeff, Steve, Karen, Jill, Shane and nephew Chris, and their spouses and partners who were loved so dearly. Her seeds continue to grow with a large and colourful garden of beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She held our hands for many years and will hold our hearts forever xxx. A service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held in the Homestead at Abbeville Estate, 9 Uenuku Way, Auckland Airport on Tuesday 15 June at 11am.

"A butterfly lights beside us, like a sunbeam
and for a brief moment it's glory
and beauty belong to our world
but then it flies on again, and although
we wish it could have stayed,
we are so thankful to have seen it at all."

Shirl we will always love and remember our beautiful Aunty. We are picturing you at long last being able to hold and cuddle your baby Shane in your arms and Norm's arms around you both.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
Love leaves memories no one can steal.
