Shirley CHRISTIE Obituary

CHRISTIE Shirley Therese (Nee Menzies). The children of Shirley would like to relay her passing. At 93, and being the last sibling of the Menzies family (Ponsonby) whom she held with great pride, the last years took their toll. Latterly in Tauranga, after Mt Roskill, and originally Ponsonby, she was cared for by the remarkable people and loving friends and family at Hodgson House. The loving Mother of Rina, Rudolph, Raewyn, Kay, William, Victoria. Grandmother to Eugene, Marcelle, Sophie-Lee, Rhys- Eden, William, and Marissa. A great grandmother and Aunt to many. She is back now with her husband Bill after 10 years, to hold hands and rekindle the love of their lives. This Saturday at 1:30 PM, a service will be held at Davis Funerals, 400 Dominion Rd, Mt Eden. Please donate to Women's Refuge in lieu of flowers.
