Shirley CARSWELL Obituary

CARSWELL, Shirley Anne. On August 27th 2025, passed peacefully with family at Keith Park Village, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of Doug (deceased) for 60 years and mum and mother-in-law of Phillip and Tina, Jennifer and James and Robert and Adrienne. Loving Nana of Sam, Michael, Natalya, Daniel, Jordan and Jessica. Sister of Margaret (deceased), Allan, Janet and Hilton. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at both Bob Owens Village and Keith Park Village for their loving care of Shirley. A family celebration service was held at the Morrison Funeral Home, Henderson on Friday 29th August and a future celebration in Gisborne is to be organised for a later date.

Reallyy sorry to read of your Mums passing i saw Shirley quite often at Bob Owens as we were almost neighbours and she was always bright and cheerful but we all knew her health was not the best when she left. Thinking of you all at this sad time
