To Earle and family. We were so sorry to hear of Shelaghs passing. We have many happy memories of our trips to different parts of the world with her at the helm of the large herds visits. An exceptional leader and friend to all. We would never have had those experiences if it hadn´t been for her. Our sympathies to you all. RIP Shelagh.

Earle and family
My deepest sympathy on your very sad loss of Shelagh.
We were lucky enough to travel the Dairying world under Shelagh´s expert leadership and organising skills.
For over a decade Shelagh was the Secretary and Sponsorship organiser of the NZ Large Dairy Conferences. As Chairman in the late 90s I was asked by Shelagh to accompany her to Auckland to meet a big organisation to discuss sponsorship. We had a figure in mind but the organisation suggested that all similar opposition should be sidelined. When we left Shelagh had negotiated a 3 year deal at 6 times our original figure and all their opposition was to stay. This set us up to bring in top overseas speakers which took the conferences to over 1000 attendees. What Shelagh did was of huge importance to the NZ Dairy industry. When Shelagh retired the Conferences completely fizzled out.
When Shelagh walked through a door the whole room immediately lit up and the world became a better place. Shelagh you were our Queen.
